Berkeley

Residents of the Berkeley area in northwest Denver can make a pretty good case that they live in the best neighborhood in the city. If you look at a map and squint your eyes a bit, it appears to have two lakes, a golf course, an amusement park, and a university. Some of those features, including Willis Case Golf Course and Regis University, are outside the Berkeley borders, if you think of I-70 as the neighborhood’s northern edge. Still, the nearby attractions are abundant, to say nothing of a funky architectural mix and hip commercial district rapidly shaping up on Tennyson Street. Its own First Friday Art Walk started on Tennyson in 1998, and is worthwhile monthly destination from virtually any start point.
