Lakeside-Mountain View

West of Sheridan Boulevard, south of 44th Avenue, is a quiet little "home rule" municipality called Mountain View. Fewer than 600 people live there. The lucky few can walk to Walmart, opened in 2013, and to the Lakeside Amusement Park, opened in 1908. Lakeside itself has no residential real estate to speak of--its most recent US Census population was listed as 8 (that's 6 maies and 2 females).  Mountain View's home selection is a hodgepodge, but it is not terriblydifferent from the very desirable Berkeley neighborhood, located just to the east. Watch your speed--the Mountain View police have written more than 7,000 tickets annually in recent years.
