Stapleton

“Infill” is a term for the repurposing of land once deployed and developed in some other way.  If they ever have the Infill Olympics, the giant parcel once occupied by Denver’s Stapleton Airport will be up for a gold medal. The Stapleton neighborhood stretches 44 blocks from north to south and nearly as far east to west.  Open space and bike trails snake their way among hundreds of new-build homes that in many cases, look old. The classic architecture is no accident in such a thoughtfully planned community. Smaller shops occupy a modest commercial district while just far enough away, across I-70, lies a mega-mall called Northfield Stapleton. Home prices in the area average in the mid-$400’s.
