Arvada

Arvada is suburbia, Denver style. It is a mix of upscale single-family neighborhoods, mid-level condos and townhouses, and apartments, all served by parks and bike trails and a quaint commercial district called Old Town. The location is ideal for access to downtown Denver, Boulder, and points west via I-70. Arvada’s population has exceeded 100,000 since the turn of the Millennium, and is generally well educated thanks in part of Jefferson County Schools. Colorado’s first gold strike, in the mid-19th Century, happened at the confluence of two creeks near what is now Gold Strike Park.
